5 days vacaction. I heard that TMZ have distributed pictures of us, so I won't have to. Carl has a strong opinion about vacation meaning break, so I didn't even get to bring the camera everywhere. But that's ok, the memories are saved in my heart. The Blog has a lot to say after such a long break. I can feel it. I've talked about this before, that feeling you need as a blogger, that pressure we feel, which basically means we're at work 24/7. It doesn't just come from the outside, but from the inside as well. It is not me who is The Blog. It has it's own life, and I'm just conveying it to the world. It's a big privilege and a responsibility I take very seriously, and fortunately it is also a very rewarding job. Right now it's a little overwhelming, though. Where do I start? It's a new year, and there's a cascade of articles, blogs and inspirational quotes about a fresh start, reolutions, goals, and directions for the year that lies ahe

So many of you lovelies have asked me if I am going to Vixen. No, I am not. As many of you know the awards have been the focus of controversy the last few years, it's created a lot of conflict between bloggers. I don't need that in my life. There's also been confusion around who decides who wins. It has been suggested that even the categories that are supposed to be decided by public votes are rigged. Voting doesn't even give a true picture. It's easy to see who has the most followers, the most clicks. But is that what blogging is all about? I don't think so. Influencing is not about clicks. In the end, I love you, my lovely, dedicated follower, and my award are the daily stream of messages and comments from you, telling me I have influence on your life. That's why I do this. I have won. I have been to Vixen a couple of times, and it's been a blast. To me it's a great party (and a great opportunity to wear a fabulous outfit ;), meeting friend

As I am to sick to take any good photos today, I thought I would take time to answer some questions from you, my lovelies. I'm an thrilled that you take such an interest in my life. - how do I become a top blogger? This is a question I get almost daily, both in comments, dm's and by press. I honestly think you have to be born with a certain natural talent for it. It is hard work, and you can come along way with commitment (you won't get anywhere without it), but if you just aren't the blogger type, you'll never make it. It's hard to explain what that means, but those who are the type will just naturally understand what I mean - Where do you shop? Where do I not shop! hahaha. (that's what my husband would say anyways). I actually shop very little in Norway, I go to Paris and Rome on a regular basis, where several showrooms invite me to VIP-presentations.
